Thanks to your staff for the good service and friendly atmosphere at your hotel and golf complex when you looked after 24 ladies from Bury St Edmunds golf club. I realise we were breaking new ground by having a private dining room and the extra work that involved especially for you but it worked really well. Conrad and his colleague were excellent in organising the room, the drinks and the food especially when two ladies confused cheese and cheescake. Hope you have an employee of the month award as they would be in contention.

Just a few lines to say thank you for a great weekend, everyone enjoyed the golf courses and even those that got wet on Sunday were not put off. We had nothing but praise for the hotel and facilities and the staff were friendly and helpful . Everyone from the lady vacuuming the reception area to the very helpful bar manager, the staff in the Pro shop to the people at the halfway houses were cheerful and were helpful. We all felt that you have some of the best staff we have come across in our travels.

I think that you will get a good many bookings from the people in our group based on our experience. Many of our members are ex captains of golf clubs and are going to recommend your hotel to their clubs for future use, our future President is already considering returning next year.

Once again many thanks for all your help throughout the booking process and our stay at possibly the best weekend venue in England.

I thought I would let you know the feedback I have received from the lads about their stay. They were all very impressed with the level of room comfort and facilities at the hotel, and said it was one of the best venues we have stayed at. I found the staff were attentive and courteous at all times and nothing was to much trouble for them to make out stay enjoyable, and the lads have asked if you would pass on their thanks to all the staff, especially Rebecca who looked after us in the dinning room.

There has been a lot of interest from the lads in returning next year, and I will contact you with numbers when I get confirmation from them.

We all agreed we will find it hard to find anywhere better, with the added bonus of not having to travel too far. We were very lucky with the weather, could have been in the South of France, absolutely fantastic!

I have just completed a 3 day golf break at Stoke by Nayland and I wanted to write and complement you on the quality of the staff and facilities at the complex, the female staff in the dining area were exceptional both friendly and very professional the food was excellent and I would have no hesitation in recommending a break at your complex to friends.

Weddings

Just a short, official letter to congratulate yourself and senior function staff on making our wedding reception such a success. Throughout the day many of our guests commented on the quality of the food, the excellent service and general organisation of the day. You could see how much of a success the day had been, thanks to a combination of a great venue and hardworking staff members. I would not hesitate in recommending your venue to friends and family in the future.

It gives us great pleasure to write to formally thank both you and the hotel in general for looking after us so well at our wonderful wedding and reception held there. We had such an amazing day that we just didn’t want it to end. Many of our guests commented to us either on the day or afterwards how impressed they also were with the hotel and staff.

I just wanted to drop you a small note of thanks for making our day so very special. I stayed at the hotel Thursday through to Sunday of that weekend and the staff were outstanding at all times, doing anything the could to accommodate our needs. All of our guests have been very complimentary about all aspects of their stay and the wedding itself.

I especially wish to commend Becky Tate what an amazing member of staff you have there! She looked after us so attentively, I felt like we were the only guests that weekend, when she was clearly very busy with other events! On the day she was nothing short of perfect in every way. When I was unwell she reassured me and kept me calm, she truly is a star. Aaron and I will be popping back to see her to thank her in person in the very near future.

Again, a big thanks to the hotel and all its staff for making our wedding day as special as it was. Amazing.
